We are excited to announce a special Family Referral and Enrollment Incentive available across all Southwest Public Schools campuses!
Our families are some of our greatest ambassadors, and we want to thank you for helping other students discover the opportunities available at Southwest Public Schools.
Refer a Student and Earn Up to $500!
Any current Southwest Public Schools family that refers a new student who enrolls at a Southwest Public Schools campus by October 30, 2026, will be eligible to receive:
$250 Gift Card – December 15, 2026
The referring family will be eligible for a $250 gift card after the referred student successfully enrolls at Southwest Public Schools by October 30, 2026.
PLUS an Additional $250 Gift Card – After May 28, 2027
The referring family will be eligible for an additional $250 gift card if the referred student remains enrolled at Southwest Public Schools through the last day of school, May 28, 2027.
That means families can earn a total of $500 for EACH student referred and enrolled!
For example, if you refer two students who meet all eligibility requirements, you could earn a total of $1,000.
This incentive applies to referrals and enrollment at all Southwest Public Schools campuses.

All school districts in Texas, including Southwest Public Schools, are distributing information to parents regarding safe storage of firearms. This is a requirement under the Texas Education Code. The following message has been provided by the Texas School Safety Center for school districts to distribute:
Texas law now requires school districts to distribute information to parents and guardians about the safe storage of firearms. This information will help you learn about options for, as well as how to talk to your child and others about, the safe storage of firearms.
In 2021, 4,613 Texans experienced gun-related deaths. The Texas Department of State Health Services (SHS) reports that 55% of Texas firearms deaths in 2020 were suicides and that 59% of all suicides in Texas were by firearms. Suicide attempts involving firearms have a 90% fatality rate. Restricting access to guns is critical in reducing acts of violence, whether as self-harm or towards others. Acts of mass violence and interpersonal violence often end in suicide.

Our choir students will be performing at the festival. Bring the whole family and let’s share in food, music, games, and fun!
And you don’t want to miss the raffle! We have gift cards, kitchen appliances, and TWO brand new BIKES that we can’t wait to raffle away!

Please note: The front office will be closed to visitors during testing hours to maintain a quiet and secure environment for all students.
