Southwest Public Schools is the recipient of the Strong Foundations Grant for Mathematics, which provides $160,000 over a two-year period. The Strong Foundation grant provides support in creating a mathematics instructional framework, aligning the vision and framework with Southwest Public Schools' strategic plan. In addition to the instructional framework, Southwest Public Schools will also develop training and system planning for professional development of research-based instructional strategies that are applicable to the district’s needs.
